“Thank You” to the Staff at Clear Body & Image Wellness Spa

The mixer was GREAT! Many people showed up and could either socialize well snacking on great food and beverages, or they could go around and be pampered the whole evening with messaging, reflexology, hair trimming, eyebrow waxing and even have make-up put on. Who needs to go off anywhere for a spa weekend, when we have it all here in Fairview!!

Workplace Essential Skills Training

 

 

A series of interactive 3 hours webinar workshops, hosted by Business IQ Training and the Northwest Peace Community Adult Learning Council begins in Fairview in January of 2012.

The cost is $60 per workshop. Class times are 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.

Employee training workshops are free of charge and funded by the Government of Alberta.

All participants must currently be employed and minimally be willing to share where they work.

  • Conflict Resolution In-Depth Topics – 4 hours each (4 – 7 different topics)

  • Minute Taking and Robert’s Rules of Order – 2 hours

  • Group Facilitation – 2 hours
  • Passive vs. Active (Listening, Watching, Participation) – 2 hours

The Alberta 55 Plus Games are the province’s premier multi-sport and cultural event. They provide many benefits to both the host community and the thousands of Albertans who participate at the local, zone and provincial levels.

The Games provide a venue for Albertans 55 years of age and older to pursue greater levels of physical, social, intellectual and creative achievement through friendly competition and participation.
The Games also enhance a sense of community spirit.
