Downtown Fairview @ Summers End Festival
The Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be hosting the Mechanical Bull Riding Championships, downtown Fairview at this years Summer’s End Festival on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Chamber, we are non-profit, member driven organization of businesspeople and community leaders aimed to promote and protect the interests of its members and the business community at large. We provide essential resources and opportunities for businesses and cultivate relationships to develop, sustain, and enhance a diverse and resilient local economy.
We are hosting this event to engage with our community. Our goal is simple; cultivate community spirit and awareness through fun and friendly competition. Our financial goal for this event is to cover our costs and possibly generate a few extra dollars in support of our efforts to benefit our organizations and the community at large.
Come out and have some fun, support your local Chamber & win town-wide bragging rights as the best rider in town!
The F&D Chamber Mechanical Bull Riding Championships is a one handed, 8 second endurance riding competition with multiple rounds in various categories.
The intention of this event is to make it a fun experience for all riders, by starting all competitors on the lowest riding setting. If competitors keep their free hand up and in the air, and stay on the bull for 8 seconds they will qualify to ride in the next round. The ride setting will become more challenging with each round. The final competitor to complete the 8 seconds or best time in a round will be named Mechanical Bull Riding Champion in their category!
For those people who are not interested in riding, we encourage you to come out for what we hope will be an energetic and exciting event! We are taking over the vacant lot across from CIBC and plan to make it a true rodeo viewing experience with bleachers, an announcer and food!
Pre-Registration Required BY 1:00 PM ON DAY OF EVENT
*All riders are required to sign a waiver. Competitors under the age of 18 will require a parent/guardian signature.

We are pleased to announce that after the afternoon Championships & Rides we will be moving the Mechanical Bull to the
Summer’s End Street Dance from 8 pm – 11 pm. Sooo much fun!
$20 – gets you 3 x 8 second rounds on the bull * Rides are not transferable.
