Every business, organization and employee has a story worth celebrating.
The Fairview & District Chamber Business Awards recognize the businesses, organizations and individuals whose dedication, leadership, innovation and community spirit help make our region a great place to live, work and do business.
Whether it’s a long-established business, an inspiring new entrepreneur, an outstanding employee, or a community-minded organization, your nomination helps shine a spotlight on the people making a difference every day.
Our goal isn’t simply to select award winners—it’s to recognize and celebrate the many outstanding businesses and individuals that strengthen our communities.
Who Can Submit a Nomination?
Anyone may nominate an eligible business or individual located within:
- Town of Fairview
- M.D. of Fairview No. 136
- Village of Hines Creek
- Clear Hills County
You are welcome to:
- Nominate multiple businesses, organizations or individuals.
- Submit nominations in multiple categories.
- Nominate yourself or your own business.

Business of the Year
(Presented in Two Categories: 1–3 Employees & 4+ Employees)
Recognizes an outstanding business that demonstrates excellence in business operations, customer service, leadership, innovation and community involvement.

Recognizes two outstanding businesses that demonstrate excellence in their respective industries while embodying the spirit of the local business community. Nominees demonstrate strong business performance, leadership, and sound business practices while fostering a positive workplace culture, delivering outstanding customer service, and embracing innovation to meet the evolving needs of their customers. They also demonstrate a commitment to community investment and build meaningful relationships with customers, employees, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Workplace Excellence Award
Recognizes a business that has created an exceptional workplace culture by investing in its employees, fostering professional growth, promoting wellbeing and creating a positive work environment.

Recognizes a business that demonstrates an outstanding commitment to its employees by creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace. Nominees prioritize employee attraction, development, engagement, and retention while fostering a culture built on respect, wellness, professional growth, diversity, accessibility, and teamwork.
Organization of the Year
Recognizes a non-profit organization, charity, club or service organization that has made an exceptional contribution to improving the quality of life within our communities.

Recognizes a non-profit organization, not-for-profit organization, registered charity, society, club, or committee that demonstrates excellence in fulfilling its mission through effective leadership, strong governance, innovative programs, and responsible stewardship of resources. Nominees demonstrate organizational sustainability, operational excellence, meaningful outcomes, and a commitment to serving the evolving needs of the community through their programs and services.
Community Impact Award
Recognizes a business, organization, or individual whose commitment to the community extends beyond their primary role or purpose, demonstrating leadership, generosity, and a genuine dedication to making a meaningful and lasting difference in our communities.

Recognizes a business, organization, or individual whose commitment to the community extends beyond their primary role or purpose. Nominees demonstrate leadership, generosity, and a genuine dedication to enriching the community through the contribution of their time, expertise, resources, partnerships, or financial support, creating a meaningful and lasting impact on the quality of life in our region.
Rising Star Award
Recognizes a new business or a new owner of an existing business that has been operating for less than three years and has demonstrated strong growth, innovation and future potential.

Recognizes a newly established business, or a new owner of an existing business, that has been operating for less than three years and has demonstrated exceptional promise and early success. Nominees exhibit strong business performance, innovation, customer focus, and adaptability while making a positive contribution to the local economy and community, with clear potential for continued growth and long-term success.
Business Excellence in Customer Service
Recognizes a business that consistently delivers exceptional customer service and creates positive customer experiences.

Recognizes a business that consistently delivers outstanding customer service and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction. Nominees foster lasting customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, reliability, and a customer-first approach that consistently exceeds expectations.
Adult Excellence Award (18 +)
Recognizes an employee who consistently demonstrates professionalism, exceptional customer service, initiative, teamwork and a commitment to excellence.

Recognizes an employee 18 years of age or older who consistently delivers outstanding customer service. Nominees demonstrate professionalism, reliability, product or service knowledge, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to creating positive customer experiences. Through their attitude, initiative, and leadership, they consistently exceed expectations and leave a lasting positive impression on customers and colleagues alike.
Youth Excellence Award (U18)
Recognizes a young employee who demonstrates professionalism, initiative, reliability, customer service and a positive attitude in the workplace.

Recognizes an employee under 18 years of age who demonstrates exceptional dedication, professionalism, and a positive attitude in the workplace. Nominees consistently provide friendly and respectful customer service, demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Through their enthusiasm and dependability, they make a positive impression on customers, coworkers, and their employer.

Nominees will be contacted as nominations are received to confirm their acceptance.
Finalists will be announced on September 23, 2026, with award recipients revealed live at the 2026 Fairview & District Chamber Business Awards on October 23, 2026.

People’s Choice Chamber Award
The Only Business Award Determined by Public Vote!
Digital voting is open September 3–13, 2026.
All Chamber Member Businesses nominated in any 2026 Business Award category are automatically eligible for the People’s Choice Chamber Award.
The only exceptions are previous People’s Choice Chamber Award winners from the past two years:
Mad Dog Cresting (2025) and CreekSide Hat Co. (2024).

How It Works
1. The Public Chooses the Finalists
Cast your vote during the September 3–13 digital voting period. Public voting will determine the finalists, who will be announced on September 23, 2026, alongside all other 2026 Business Award finalists.
2. The Public Chooses the Winner
The winner will be determined through a live digital vote during the Fairview & District Chamber Business Awards on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Voting Guidelines
- One vote per IP address during the public voting period.
- If more than one vote is submitted from the same IP address, only the first vote will be counted.
