The Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce has been supporting business and strengthening our community since 1977. The policies and programs of the Chamber are determined by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership.
Directors are expected to attend regular monthly meetings (third Thursday of month @ 12 PM), sit on at least one committee or task force, and be active participants of Chamber events. Each elected Director (9 in total) will serve a one-year term commencing April 21st, 2022.
Nominee Eligibility: To be eligible for nomination to the Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors the nominee must be a member, (or authorized representative of a member business) in good standing with the Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce.

For a Nomination Form to be considered valid the following is required: * Nominee Information & Signature * Nominator Information & Signature * Must be submitted to the Chamber Office no later than Thursday February 24th @ 5 PM
Once Nominations Form is received by the Chamber Office, the nominee will be notified to provide the following: * A brief autobiographical statement no more than 300 words * A recent photo or headshot
Election will take place during the Fairview & District of Chamber Annual General Meeting to be held at the Dunvegan Inn & Suites on Thursday March 17, 2022. AGM Registration Opens on February 17, 2022.

Our Annual General Meeting is our opportunity to connect and engage with our membership, present Annual Reports highlighting achievements, reinforce membership value, share strategic goals for 2022 and elect our 1 term Board of Directors. New this year we will also be taking this opportunity to acknowledge & celebrate some of our member’s business achievements and milestones.

How to nominate a candidate: Starting February 10th, prospective board nominees and/or nominators will be able to download a simple nomination form from our website and summit it to the Chamber Office by 5:00 PM, February 24th, 2022.
